Report: Russia not to shut foreign e-services till has its own – Putin

MOSCOW, Feb 15 (PRIME) -- Russia will not shut foreign Internet services till it has own alternatives, and the country will act only depending on a situation, President Vladimir Putin told local media editors, broadcast by TV channel Rossiya 24 on February 14.

“We’ll roll up nothing until we have something of our own. And if we decide to roll up something when we have something of our own, we’ll do it only on the grounds of a situation,” Putin said.

He added that “when our colleagues see that there is an alternative and they have no monopoly on the market, they will behave differently.”
